About Sponge Iron
Sponge Iron is the primary raw material produced within the group's mining and raw materials vertical. It is manufactured through the Direct Reduction of Iron (DRI) process using a Rotary Kiln — a technology chosen for its fuel flexibility, cost efficiency, and lower emissions compared to blast furnace routes.
The product is processed for superior fast-melt performance in induction furnaces and is entirely utilized for captive consumption in MS Billet manufacturing.
